I was thinking about what a wonderful life Myrna was blessed with. It is always too soon when someone we love passes, and there is no getting around that. But to think about what a happy life someone had is somehow comforting to me. To have been married and truly in love for over 50 years is such a rare thing. What a wonderful way to go through life. Like that cozy, safe feeling of having a nice warm blanket wrapped around you on a cold day - and having that feeling all the time! Add to that, two GREAT children, a daughter and a son. To see them grow up, accomplish many of their goals, find love, marry, have children of their own.... to experience the joy of being a grandma many times over! How wonderful! Add to that, a career she loved and was passionate about! Not everybody has that in life. The joy and contentment of having some long and satisfying friendships and some fun hobbies in retirement that she could share with her husband - such a great experience. Then, add to that a continued love of reading, learning about the world and exploring? What an inspiration! Not to mention her wonderful warmth, sense of humor and loving nature that I personally experienced and will miss so much. Myrna gave great hugs! I love seeing the pictures on this website and reading the stories and thoughts of those who loved this wonderful woman. I am so sad that she is gone but so glad that she was here and shared so much love and happiness during her lifetime.
